Bojana Cvejić (Belgrade)

Bojana Cvejić practices theory in musicology, choreography, and performance as writer, performer, dramaturge and musicologist. She took part in initiating non-institutional self-organizing platforms for performance and music theory and practice: TkH (Walking Theory) Center (Belgrade), PAF (St. Erme), and CHINCH (Belgrade), and organized several dance, choreography and music programmes in Belgrade. Since 2000 she made and performed together with Jan Ritsema Verwantschappen, TODAYulysses, Pipelines, a construction, knowH20w, directed independent opera performances in Belgrade (the last Orfeo ed Euridice, 2005) and also collaborated on several works by Emil Hrvatin, Xavier Le Roy, Christine Gaigg, Eszter Salamon. Teaches in education programmes (among others, P.A.R.T.S. Brussels), publishes regularly for performance and music magazines such as Etcetera, Maska, TkH, Frakcija, New Sound and is author of two books (Open Work in Music, SKC, 2004 and forthcoming Performative practices beyond musical work, IKZS, 2006).
