Capitalism & the "Fortress Europe"

The second week of the documentary film program presents „Český Sen“ (Czech Dream) (2004). „Český Sen“ documents the largest consumer hoax the Czech Republic has ever seen. Filip Remunda and Vit Klusak, two of Eastern Europe's most promising young documentary filmmakers, set out to explore the psychological and manipulative powers of consumerism by creating an ad campaign for something that didn't exist.

Secondly „ Kenedi se vraca kuci - Kenedi goes back home (2003)“ by Želimir Žilnik and „No Lager Nowhere!“ (2005) show the dramatic situation of refugees trying to overcome the "fortress Europe".
